Financial Assistance MinistriesBut if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

St. Stephen’s Ministry
Lexington United Methodist Church
The St. Stephen’s Ministry provides assistance for individuals and families experiencing a temporary financial hardship due to an illness, loss of job, or other factors. Through our St. Stephen’s ministry we seek to build relationships with the people we serve to not only help them with their immediate physical need, but to help them connect to a community of faith where they can feed their souls and receive ongoing encouragement to strengthen their lives. This ministry is generously supported by members and friends of Lexington United Methodist Church. You may give electronically from the home page on our website or by sending a check to Lexington United Methodist Church (P.O. Box 116; Lexington, TX 78947) and indicating “St. Stephen’s Fund” on the memo line. If you are needing assistance or would like to refer someone to our St. Stephen’s Ministry, please call the church office at (979) 773-2728.
