Rev. Raegan Seaton
Pastor Seaton is an ordained elder in the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. She has previously served as the Associate Pastor at St. John’s UMC in Texas City and St. Mark’s UMC in Baytown. At St. Mark’s, she oversaw the contemporary worship service, missions, and evangelism. Raegan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University as well as a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary.
Pastor Seaton is a lifelong Methodist and a Native Texan. She got her call to ministry during a mission trip to Guatemala. At Seminary, she met her husband John Seaton, who is also a United Methodist. They are the proud parents to Joshua and James. They also have two lovable dogs, Lily and Lyle.
When not at work, Raegan loves to bake, travel with her family, and watch her boys play sports. The Seatons are a huge sports family, and especially love college football. Raegan has enjoyed working alongside the wonderful ministries that are going on at Lexington and Blue, and serving the congregations in bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.
Director of Family Discipleship
Ryan joined the church staff in the summer of 2021 as the Director of Family Discipleship, overseeing youth and children’s ministries. He previously served as the Youth Minister of Santa Fe Christian Church in Santa Fe, TX and Pastor of First Christian Church of Lexington, TX. While serving at Santa Fe, He oversaw the events and weekly programming of the youth group grades 6-12. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree from Dallas Christian College in Youth and Family Ministry with a minor in Missions. He hopes to someday continue education through seminary work or pursuing a Master’s of Divinity.
Ryan was born in Round Rock TX, lived in multiple states during his childhood, and landed in Lexington when he started middle school, where he graduated in 2013. He came to faith at the age of 17, just before he graduated from high school and pursued a calling from God to serve in Youth Ministry. Ryan is married to his high school sweet heart Randi who is a teacher at the Lexington Elementary School. They graduated college together in the summer of 2018 and got married the day after! They are proud parents of their son Liam and hope that God will bless them with more children in the future.
In his spare time, Ryan loves to spend time with his wife watching movies and TV shows, playing and reading with his son Liam, practicing his guitar, and is an avid video gamer. He enjoys watching MLB and is a fan of the Texas Rangers because of his time in Dallas. He has a Boxer named Bentley and one cat named Indie.
Holly joined the church office team the summer of 2018 as the Administrative Assistant. Holly takes care of many of the daily and weekly tasks including printing bulletins for all services, updating prayer requests, answering phone calls, greeting guests. Holly makes sure that the sanctuary is ready for Sunday service (or special services) by making sure that children folders and materials in church pews are replenished and that the sanctuary is in good condition. Holly also supports several church committees.
Holly was born in and raised in Lexington. She spent ten years away in Houston area where she met her husband. Before coming back to Lexington, Holly was a member of Channelview UMC where she was the Worship Chair, Lay Leader Committee Member; Family Life committee member and Day School Committee member. She also worked for the day school as an Administrative Assistant.
Holly is married to Chase and they have three children: Aiden, Sophia and Haddie Mae. The Newton’s enjoy doing things as a family; rather it be outdoor activities or traveling or just watching movies on the couch. The family also consist of 2 dogs, 2 cats, a fish and a bearded dragon.
