Rev. Raegan Seaton
Pastor Seaton is an ordained elder in the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. She has previously served as the Associate Pastor at St. John’s UMC in Texas City and St. Mark’s UMC in Baytown. At St. Mark’s, she oversaw the contemporary worship service, missions, and evangelism. Raegan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University as well as a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary.
Pastor Seaton is a lifelong Methodist and a Native Texan. She got her call to ministry during a mission trip to Guatemala. At Seminary, she met her husband John Seaton, who is also a United Methodist. They are the proud parents to Joshua and James. They also have two lovable dogs, Lily and Lyle.
When not at work, Raegan loves to bake, travel with her family, and watch her boys play sports. The Seatons are a huge sports family, and especially love college football. Raegan has enjoyed working alongside the wonderful ministries that are going on at Lexington and Blue, and serving the congregations in bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.
Director of Church and Community Impact & Youth Coordinator
Since the fall of 2013, Stephanie has been working in the Lexington UMC office wearing several hats including Pastor’s Assistant, Director of Church and Community Impact & Youth Coordinator. With the recent hiring of an Administrative Assistant to the office, Stephanie can continue to grow the church through various outreach programs. Stephanie’s background includes a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Southwest Texas State University. Before moving to Lexington, Stephanie worked in various PR and event planning positions with hotels, resorts and non-profits. She is thrilled to use her communication skills by creating, writing and distributing the monthly church newsletter, weekly email; writing press releases, ads and flyers for church events; updating members & visitors through social media & print; working directly with outreach groups, both internally as well as externally. She is looking forward to creating support for more outreach groups, create & promote new adult activities and classes; help members find to best use their Spiritual Gifts for the better of the church and themselves; create and promote volunteer opportunities for the church.
As the Youth Coordinator, Stephanie continues to work alongside adult volunteers who work with youth in making sure that they have tools needed to help our youth in their faith walk. She also schedules, promotes and organizes additional opportunities for youth to enhance their faith walk while having fun with others.
Stephanie is married to Rob and together they have three children: Steven, Tripp and Kate. The five of them love to travel and enjoy time with friends and family. To round off their family they have 3 dogs and 2 cats.
Holly joined the church office team the summer of 2018 as the Administrative Assistant. Holly takes care of many of the daily and weekly tasks including printing bulletins for all services, updating prayer requests, answering phone calls, greeting guests. Holly makes sure that the sanctuary is ready for Sunday service (or special services) by making sure that children folders and materials in church pews are replenished and that the sanctuary is in good condition. Holly also supports several church committees.
Holly was born in and raised in Lexington. She spent ten years away in Houston area where she met her husband. Before coming back to Lexington, Holly was a member of Channelview UMC where she was the Worship Chair, Lay Leader Committee Member; Family Life committee member and Day School Committee member. She also worked for the day school as an Administrative Assistant.
Holly is married to Chase and they have three children: Aiden, Sophia and Haddie Mae. The Newton’s enjoy doing things as a family; rather it be outdoor activities or traveling or just watching movies on the couch. The family also consist of 2 dogs, 2 cats, a fish and a bearded dragon.
