YouthDon’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
1 Timothy 4:12
On Wednesdays during the school year, youth walk over from Lexington Middle School at 3:30 p.m. and enjoy a snack, a Bible lesson, worship, and outdoor recreation. We believe youth are blessed as they enjoy Christian fellowship and grow in God’s Word together. Middle School Youth ends at 5 p.m.
High School Youth is 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. during the school year. They too enjoy a snack, Bible lesson, worship, and outdoor recreation. If you are interested in helping out with either group, please contact Stephanie in the church office (979) 773-2728.
Youth Sunday School
Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. in Room 1 for Youth Sunday School for 6th-12th graders. We have a great time studying God’s Word and growing in our faith together.
Each summer we go to Lakeview Methodist Conference Center for summer camp. We have a great time growing closer to God and meeting new friends while enjoying everything Lakeview has to offer like archery, swimming, Snow Cone Cabana, Gaga ball, sand volleyball, fishing, and the game room. Fundraisers are held throughout the year so that everyone can go to camp who wishes to. For more information about camp, please contact the church office.
Our summer mission trip for Junior High students is Big House, where we travel to another community in Texas to spread God’s love through hands-on projects. Each night we gather for games and worship with other youth from across the state. For more information, please contact the church office.
