Summer Women’s Bible Study

WHERE:
Lexington United Methodist Church, Family Life Center

WHEN:
Mondays, this summer 10:00 – 11:30 AM
Starting June 18

WHAT:
Malachi: A Love That Never Lets Go – Bible Study Book is an 8 session women’s Bible study on the book of Malachi. In this study Lisa focuses on God’s mercy. On our worst day, God doesn’t walk away from us. And His love for us is not determined by our performance. No matter how many times we mess up, God loves (and never leaves) broken people. “I the LORD do not change” Malachi 3:6 Women taking this Bible study will gain a fresh perspective on the Book of Malachi. It is more than a book in the Bible about tithing. Lisa brings the Scripture to life through dynamic storytelling.

Our UMW ladies host an annual fundraiser which helps further our local missions work providing funding for youth camp scholarships, the weekly m&ms programs at LUMC, Backpack Buddies, and graduate scholarships.

They also assemble kits yearly for UMCOR (here’s a link to their page). Our churches were able to send over 40 bags to Sager Brown Distribution in Louisiana.
