Food Assistance

Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.

Proverbs 22:9

We hold a Free Will/Food Pantry lunch the first Thursday of the month from 11:30 to 1 p.m. at the Lexington United Methodist Church’s Family Life Center. This free lunch is available to everyone in the community. Donations are accepted and are used to offset costs for groceries for the next month’s meal. If you are interested in helping out (cook, serve, clean up), please contact Lee Marks or the church office). Otherwise we look forward to seeing you at next month’s meal!

Lexington Mobile Food Pantry

First Thursday of Every Month
Behind the Masonic Lodge in Lexington

The mobile food pantry is made possible by donations from area churches and civic groups.  It is available to any individual of family who needs it.  Volunteers are needed when the truck arrives at 10:30 a.m.  Food distribution begins at 11:00 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m. or until everyone is served or the food has run out.  Anyone wishing to volunteer may show up ready to work!
